Yesterday Morse went to the vets to be assessed as a Pets As Therapy dog. He sailed through the test and got full marks. We now need to send off the paper work and wait (6-8 weeks) to see if he is accepted. Needless to say we're very proud of our good natured boy.

Oh that's fantastic, I'm sure Morse will sail through and do lots of good. He certainly sold me on greyhounds! I've toyed with the idea for Mason, especially since he passed his Kennel Club Good Citizen classes, mainly because I see how the older generation and kids react to him. I'm not sure about his patience threshold though - he has taken to telling me in no uncertain terms when he is bored Sometimes I think he has A.D.D
Great news for Morse! Please let us know how he gets on after the paperwork comes through. Pets as Therapy is a very worthwhile thing for good-natured dogs to do - it brings such pleasure to people who, for whatever reason, can't keep a dog of their own. Good luck to Morse - and everything's crossed for him!
