It's been a bit hectic round here the last few days. My mum came to stay for a few days, bringing her dog Corrie with her and as next door are away on holiday Baillie was here too. Five dogs is good fun but hard work too! I resemble some mad dog woman when walking them all, I'm thankful for the lack of people around here to see me. The odd dog out was my mums, he barks the rest are very quiet and work round each other without any fuss. Cara has had a red belly from running through the straw in the fields, tea tree calming spray is working wonders on her. Bess has been limping a bit (cruciate ligament) I think it's an old injury flared up by trying to copy Caras gazelle like leaps over fences. Bess seems fine about it, strange how terriers can romp around on three legs nae bother, hounds have to scream the place down after the least wee bump! This is Bess showing off her nice bed in the kennel, she would rather be in there than the house.
This is Bess showing off her 'work in progress', she gets her logs on to the roof of the log shed before removing all the bark, then breaking them in to kindling, very helpful
This is a group shot, Bess is outside on her log shed.
Bella is not doing too well with the slimming, she eats less and has to work twice as hard as the rest to keep up (wee legs) but she still looks VERY upholstered. I think it's a 'wummens thing' we ladies are cursed with 'big bones' and hormone problems.
Five dogs !!!!!! know how that feels. Great photo,s and love the one of Bess the lumber jack. Thanks for the tip about the tea tree spray for straw belly. Did notice hubby lounging, not bad for some, Bailie is lovely. LOL Nora
