Pics of my walk in the field tonight, Cara fetches the ball, again and again, so I hide it on a straw round, but she finds it , Bella is fed up with Bess trying to bite her tail, so she shows her the sharp end
Bess stops picking on her wee fat friend and smiles for the camera
Fantastic photos! Love the ones of Cara and the one of Bess smiling at the camera. You'll need to get a good one of Bella running about or something - she looks almost demonic in that photo.
Love the photo of Cara on the bale, fantastic shot. Bess is just like a mini Cara and Bella looks totaly P***ed off. The cut fields are brilliant but a bit scratchy on the shorter legged dogs bellies, OUCH!!!! Nora

Bella not concerned with the jaggy belly stuff (hide like an elephant) but she did have to go to the vet after a nasty poke in the eye with the straw. She thought she was in heaven, there were cats everywhere in the waiting room, her tail went like a propeller and her one good eye was the size of a dinner plate she's all fine now, just lay on her back to get the eye drops. I will try and get an action shot of her, but it's hard to see what her legs are doing in the straw, or even on fairly short grass The girl at the vet thought she was not a pure beagle and thought there may be a bit labrador in her, when I said I thought she would be bigger if crossed with a lab she said she thought she had eaten a labrador, not been mixed with one ah well so much for her diet
Poor Bella - so much for the "caring professions" eh? I thought people who work at the vets were meant to be sympathetic to poorly pooches! Imagine saying that about the poor wee soul!
Glad her eye is ok and will look forward to seeing any action shots that you get of her. I love the colours and markings that beagles have - even if they do have wee short legs. I love the image conjured up by your description of her propellor tail and eye like a dinner plate!
Action shots of Bella This is Bella in her normal 'action' mode, nose down, sniffing out anything small and furry. She found a rats nest today and killed all the wee tiny babies
This shot is a bit fuzzy, she was going very fast, her ears are used for extra lift
You can see her sleek streamlined shape in this shot. Note the ears are tucked back for less wind resistance
I've tried to get a shot of Bess on the slide, but now she knows what I'm going to ask her, she's up and down too quickly for me, I'll keep trying.
They're great - much nicer to see Bella charging about and not showing her "sharp" end. I like the one of her running away from the camera - those lugs, aren't they great. Also like the one of her loping along the field. Good luck with the slide shots!
