Hi All, well firstly and I hate to say this but Im a tad disappointed - I gave a note of interest in a female friend for spoonie as I felt both him and I were ready to offer our home to another rescue greyhound but alas heard nothing from GAL - so I had to look elsewhere to find Mr Spoons a new girl to share his life with! I was hoping to have 2 GAL dogs but found Celias Greyhound rescue in fife where we have now adopted 'Bessie' she is a loveable little black with no teeth who has settled in so well I cant believe it.........we are a real happy family and find it just as easy with 2 as we did with 1 - so to all out there who only have one dog ----- get another, its just a great - double the fun and double the love. Cheers - Neil
Congratulations on finding Bessie, Spoonie must be one happy hound. Celia and Jimmy are wonderful people and so utterly dedicated to "their" babies, I both admire and envy their energy. We must have photos please of your new addition and wish you all the very best. Nora

Hi Neil, Heard that you had a new grlfriend for Spoonie It's amazing how easy it is to have more than one, do you remember Kathleen and Vinnie well Kathleen is now on no6!!!!!She has Vinnie Connor Buster Maggie Annie and her latest addition Bobby, and she still has to get a blue and a brindle lol, all the best and give Spoonie and Bessie a big hug from Auntie Rachel at the kennels.hope you are well.
Congratulations Mr Spoons on your new girlfriend, we hope you'll be very happy together. Alas our Chad won't share us with anyone so we have to remain a one dog pack! Em and Chad xx

LOL, think Mason is much the same, he likes being the centre of my universe. I'm jealous of everyone who has a pack, well done Mr Spoons, making room for a girlfriend.
Hi Neil, lovely to see spoonie with his new lady friend, may i say spoonie looks extremely well furnished these days!lol, and quite right too. he was such a little sook and he's obviously very happy and contented.does he still snore?bessie looks a good match for him.hope you are well.
aww thanks all - Im kinda in love with the family.....Karen, Spoons is really coming on and believe it or not but I think he is gettin bigger!! and Rachel, LOL yes he snores and OMG - him and my mother (both arthritic) and both compete in the snoring game - no wonder Bess comes to my bed late at night! I will get better pics very soon now that I know how to do it!
they look gorgeous! so content and comfy. been toying with the idea of getting Gus a friend and did think about a little girl but will need to see how he is with others first before I really look into it.
I'd forgotton that he snored i used to have to leave the living room and my bedroom doors open for him and some nights it sounded like a bear had got into the flat!
