So this is Belle my new foster and what a cure girl she is. We picked her up yesterday and she is supposed to be a 10 week old greyhound whippet cross. I think that she is more like 13 weeks and a lurcher given the ears and the broader face. What mix do you all think that she is?









Poor Belle appears to have been passed around a bit and initially came from a breeder? Who passed her on to someone with a whippet female. When the whippet came into season she bullied Belle so she was then passed on to the couple we collected her from. They had to give her up for health reasons. Hopefully we will be able to give the poor girl a bit of stability and consistency while we find her a forever home.

That being said she is a very confident and bouncy young thing. She like all puppies is into everything very chewy and not doing well with the house training. Though I got more sleep last night than expected as she didn't squeak too long. The mess in the morning though was incredible 8 separate locations and only one on the puppy pad or paper. Thank goodness for laminate flooring. Tara might have been a huge floods puppy but she tended to confine it to one location. House training is definitely an area needing work. She appears to have been quite spoiled at some point and NO came as a bit of a surprise to her, but I am sure that we will progress well and we won't be passing on a little minx.

She appears to need a mother figure and has chosen Tara, surprisingly Tara seems to be taking on that role and they get on very well. Zak on the other hand is terrified of her and runs away ever time she comes near. I think that she is too bouncy for him and he is unsure if he is allowed to tell her off.

She is definitely too bouncy for Cisco cat and has been punched on the nose once already for being too pushy. So some learning to do their as well.
