Well the day myself Kathleen and Eddie have been dreading finally arrived,our lovely old Bert was collected by his mum and dad today to go and start his new life with his pal Smokey in Portugal,they leave in five days time and Bert had quite a send off with a number of people here to wish Bert Bill and Carol Bon Voyage,more than a few tears were shed and we are all going to miss him,our bedroom will be very quiet tonight,no Bertie snoring!!We will keep in touch and look forward to hearing of all the adventures they get up to,and of course we will all be going out to visit!!Seriously though we wish you all the best Bill,Carol,Bert and Smokey have a wonderful new life in sunnier climes.
