Just wanted to organize another great day out with the dogs! Since we have so many new dogs and coming off the sucess of the Christmas Fayre - we will be having our:
GREYHOUND AWARENESS DAY AT THE LANGBANK KENNELS ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 8TH FROM 11-3PM!!
We will be walking the dogs, talking about the dogs and hopefully homing some of the dogs!
If anyone can come along to help out - either with walking the dogs or with the set up/take down - please PM me or email me at linda@gal.org.uk!
LET'S CONTINUE THE SUCESS OF HOMING DOGS THIS YEAR....!!!
I will get to one of your events eventually once Charlie is fit and well and i don't have to worry about him picking up anything whilst he is in a vulnerable position but i wish you all the best for the day :0)
Thanks to all that came out in the pouring rain to the Awareness Day - unfortunately, we had all volunteers and no interested adopters but we still had fun! Yes with Tanya's food, Rachel & Eddie's coffee and tea we still had a good chat!
Thanks again to David, Helena & huubby, Tanya, Colin & sister, Ilusaka & Andy, Denise, Graham and Fiona, Joyce and new volunteer Katlin! And of course the hounds! :)
Thanks for the compliments on my baking :), it's a pity no one came who was interested in giving a grey a home for christmas but it was still nice to get together for a chat. I'll try my best to have some baking for the Summer Gala and make it a family day out :)
The weather had its worst face on,but the company was warm!!Never had the chance to sample Tanyas home baking, some other time maybe, good for the figure I suppose. Thanks to everyone for braving the elements. We can look forward to the New Year now.
