Our monthly walk takes place the FIRST SUNDAY of every month and this coming SUNDAY - DECEMBER 2ND we will be there from 11am to 1pm! Strathclyde Park is off the M74 heading toward Motherwell for those who haven't had the pleasure yet of meeting us on our walks!
Come along with your family/friends and your adorable dog(s) and meet others with their beautiful pets! A great chance to take your dog on a different wee walk and for them to meet other greyhounds and lurchers! They sure make a fantastic picture, seeing all the variety of colours and sizes!
We meet at the car park - 2nd car park from the Water Sorts Centre, from 11am onwards. Representatives from GAL will be clearly visible in their orange/red bibs and our very own Iluska Sandor will remain in the car park to answer any questions, etc!
Unfortunately, the GAL Shop will not be in attendance at the Strathclyde Park walk this month. Our Zak has hurt himself, and looking after him takes priority for the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience!
(More info on Zak's injury are in the "About your dogs" section.)
A good turn out today for the walk. The rain stayed off, and the dogs all behaved themselves really well.
I had the pleasure of the company of Stitch. What a lovely boy he is. Don't think he'd ever seen a rowing boat before and his reaction was quite amusing.
Then I got a lovely hug from MoJo and my day was complete. What a tactile boy he is! Loves his cuddles.
It was lovely to see so many faces. Certainly beats going Christmas shopping!
