Had a lovely day (again) today walking some of the dogs in Langbank. Here's some pictures of their beautiful residents.
Tommy - he's such a sweetheart and a character. He's going to be lots of fun for his new family.
Paddy - he's a quiet, gentle soul.
Mac - what a friendly, lovely natured fella. I'm smitten.
Eugene - still waiting for his home and very shy but he's a sweetheart too.
This is Bobby. He is very gentle and a quiet lad. Very cuddly too. He's very handsome.
What a stunning boy Malbay is.
I had great fun cuddling them all and so wish I could have taken them all home.
Apologies - some of the pics aren't the greatest but it's not easy when they're trying to walk up to you. Eugene was being very coy and kept turning away from the camera at the last second. He's so shy. They are such a lovely natured bunch of dogs and really deserve their forever homes.
Thanks for posting the photos Karen,Albie should read Malbay, probably my Borders accent meant it didn't sound right!!lol, hopefully Eddie and I can find homes for him and Mac and all the GAL doggies.I'm off to tell Malbays owners son to have a look on the forum,he calls me twice a week to find out how the dog is.
Hi Valerie, yes it is a clean break,as long as he has cage rest and does not get any infections it will only need a splint and special bandages for the next six weeks,he also has Metacalm once a day .He is a lovely dog who is no bother in the house and improves daily.
I know it has been posted before but can you remind me of Langbank's address and rough directions to it from Glasgow? I've to let some people know who are thinking about getting a rescue dog about it.
Thanks x
PS. If I was allowed a third I'd def go for Bobby - he has to be Indiana's brother! Not that the hubby will ever allow it
Karen, I can see why you are in love. Exactly my thoughts when I seen the photo of Boss - drop dead georgeous. And Diesel too. Hate to think how he got the scar on his face, but it does not spoil his good looks
Not sure it is a scar. Rachel and Eddie could confirm though. My first impression (when he arrived) was that it was just the way the black hair ran. I'll investigate further next time I'm over.
Thanks for posting the pics Karen. Lita, you can put your mind at rest, that mark on Diesels face is actually a Brindle stripe,it does look like a scar on the photo.
I dont know how you do it, i'd have them all in the back of the car and half way home before you could say stop.........lol, what a handsom bunch, sooooo in love with the blacks tho.
