Milo - Dog Missing in Coatbridge

Hi - I was advised by Carol Scott, Greyhound Rescue Scotland, that a Coatbridge family are missing their beloved male, blue greyhound, called Milo.

The only information presented to me, at present is that Milo has a half a tail and he is an Irish boy - tatoos: AJ KKR.

I understand that Milo has been missing for 4 days, so that would mean he has been missing since Saturday, 22 December.

As soon as Carol is able to provide me with more information, I will duly post it, on this page.

More information regarding Milo:

Milo is 4 years old
Milo is a neutered, male greyhound
Milo is blue with white on his chest and paws & has a docked tail
Milo is without his collar
Milo went missing Sunday, 23 December 2007

Milo has been reported to the local police station, dog warden and other greyhound groups as well as posters being displayed in his home town - Coatbridge

Hi Iluska, Is there any news on this wee boy?? Between him and Dev missing over the Festive period is very upsetting-especially when there is no news or sightings of this particular Grey.Post if you hear anything,please.Regards,Maureen.

Hi Guys,

Just to say Joyce & I met Milo's owner, Alan, at SSPCA Bothwell on Saturday (29/12). It was heartbreaking hearing his story & he has done everything possible to find his dog. The family did not have a very happy Christmas & I only hope that Milo comes home for the new year.

Let us know if there is any further news & we are keeping an eye out in the Lanarkshire area.

Could anyone put out a wee appeal and a photo of Milo in any of the local papers in that area? He may have been taken in and whoever has done so may not realise he is missing from a loving home.It might be worth a go!Fingers crossed there is some news-and good I hope about both Dev and Milo.Good luck and God bless to everyone searching.

i live in Uddingston, and our wee freebie local paper, The Extra, covers most of north lanarkshire. it may be worthwhile putting an ad in there.

Have just discovered from Dogs Lost site that poor Milo has been found dead on railway track. Owners must be devastated after such a long search.

Oh that's so sad. After just getting a dog 10 years after my last one, I am just remembering all the latent worry about losing them. You just hate to here of something like this. I'm sure all our hearts go out to the owners and our thoughts are with Milo, wee soul.
