wandering greyhound spotted in Leith

A lady with small children approached me on my way home tonight to say a black greyhound with a collar with a star on it was running loose in the Ryehills around 3pm this afternoon.
I'll ask around on my walk later but if anyone knows of one missing in the area let me know

Poor doggie - hope his/her family find him/her soon.

Seems to be a real spate of dogs escaping at the moment. cry.gif

Its the streets that run between Lochend Road and Restalrig Road - Ryehill Terrace, Crescent etc.
Have heard no more so fingers crossed the dog was found.

A grey/lurcher was seen in the Kinnaird area to-day, poorly looking dog with no collar sorry do not know what colour. Do not know if this was the same dog or not. hmm Nora

I had a look yesterday but no sign, will keep trying, even if it's wandered away it might come back.
