Just to let everybody who has been following the story know that Annabel has had the first of her operations today. She must stay in the hospital for observation until Thursday evening. All has apparently gone well for her but, of course, the poor girl is going to be very sore.
The really bad news is that little Corky is developing the same abnormality. The surgeon said that he most have both legs operated in around 3 weeks time to prevent any further abnormal growth occurring. Poor little Corky. The fund for Annabel has enough money to cover Corky's surgery too and our sister charity in Holland is very hopeful of finding him a home despite the fact that he will have slightly wonky legs.
