He's still here

Bryn is still with me, someone wants him, but I've not been able to let him go yet. 4 dogs is too many, or is it? He is so sweet and calm and clever I think I will regret giving him to someone else. (selfish cow that I am)evileye

I got him a collar and a wee bed so he feels wanted.aww

I took him to work with me, he doesn't get car sick and just relaxes wherever he is.

I don't think I'd be any good at fostering, the couple that want Bryn have his brother and they can offer him a very good home, BUT, when I see all four dogs greeting each other in the morning and running around like a wee contented pack, I feel bad about sending him away. I wish I'd got fed up of the puppy mess and extra work, that would have made it much easier to part with him. His sister lives next door and she is MAD, if Bryn was as hyper as her it would be easy to send him packing, but he is so damn niceweirdface
Everyone warned me that this would happen, but I thought I could resist. Bryn is so sweet, even my hubby isn't insisting he goes, he says it's up to meblankstare

Keep him. The other people will be disappointed but they aren't as attached to him as you are so will get over it, but you will be brokenhearted. Keep him keep him. I would. Or alternatively give him to me......... He's adorable.

You know you're going to keep him so just accept itbiggrin.gif I think you've done very well letting go of the ones you have, I'd be one of those crazy women that ends up on animal rescue documentaries with no living space and five thousand animals roaming nuts if I ever had a pet that bred!!!!

I've registered him with the vet as he goes for his second jab on Thursday, no objection from OH yet, hubby now resembles the 'dog whisperer' as he sents off over the fields with his pack. (I think he likes Bryn lots, the wee boy knows his stuff, who to sook up to and how)wink
I'll check with vet about getting his pom poms off (Bryns, not my hubbys) anyone got opinions as to the best time to whip them offconfused

Modified the girls kennel today, it has two doors and two 'rooms' now. One door leads from Bella n Bess apartment to the covered run, the other door goes from the outdoor play area to a separate apartment for Bryn. When we are away for any length of time Bryn can play outside (secure area) and go inside for a rest. He will be able to see Bella n Bess through the mesh inside the kennel but they won't be able to steal his stuff or destroy his bedfurious
Bryn and his sister had a great time in there today, when they wanted a nap they went indoors and stayed there for hours. yawn Fala didn't want to go homesmile I put Bryn out for a pee after his supper tonight and he went in to his kennel. OH had to drag him out and bring him in to the houseweirdface I said to leave him until we went to bed, but hubby said it was too cold, just goes to show how far Bryn has wormed his way in with OHwink

I'll have to work on the wee boys lead work, before we try a big walk. He does a lot of yelping and throwing himself about atmhmm plus he would have to be carried for some of the way and he's a bit of a jumbo to carryaww

I can proudly say his two sisters the Hel' twins have got their lead manners all sorted now, happily sitting to command to have their collars and leads fitted. walking manners need a little work especially on Edina but Coira is not too bad. Recall is a bit hit and a miss thoughhmm

Looks like he is staying then.

I at least will breathe a sigh of relief that he is now spoken for. You can't imagine the number of times that I wanted to phone you and say YES we will take him. A real case of my heart saying yes and my head saying how are you going to manage with Tara in her condition and a puppy not to mention our Mr grumpy pants Zak who doesn't like puppies.

Of course I will offer to help walk him.
