Mason's pals Roscoe and Jessica came to visit briefly on Sunday and he went nuts. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. The second he realised another greyhound was coming into his house, he ran back and forwards, from the front garden into the house and back until they were in and then showed off like a maniac- here's my toy, play with it etc,, it was like a kid saying 'come in, see where I live, here's my toys, and my bed' it was so funny. I've had other breeds of dogs here and he has never reacted like that. I'm thinking it bodes well for a second groo, but just wondered if anyone else had had a similar experience? Marie
Yes Rufus does it with Ted his retriever pal from York, shows him his toys every room all the time wagging his tail laike mad running about like mad. Ted is coming for a holiday soon and they won#t have seen each other for 6 months so chaos. Glad he is not the only one.
No, Jet doesn't like it when other dogs come to the house much, he tolerated his friends Murphy and Maisie, actually i think he quite liked having Maisie around and didn't mind when she lay on his bed - but male dogs are another story, he's one for the ladies
Yes if you are having to haul yourself out of bed to walk one, might as well be doing it for two. MInd you if you put him into doggy day care, the cost will be an issue. But if he's a doggy orientated boy then he's bound to love a wee girlfriend. awwwww
The only other dog in my house was a toy poodle. The two of mine wanted him bad! He had to be kept in a different room but Tigerlily stalked the door. She wouldn't leave it. Must have been like a scene from The Shining for the poor poodle! Mason on the other hand seems like a great playmate and definitely ready for a new friend!
Mason could do with a pal, how do you cope with only ONE dog, would you like to borrow a pal for Mason, just so you can see how much he wants one
Ooooh, I'll take the puppy, but there's no guarantee you'll get him back! TBH I'm hoping for a change with my work this year that could lead to a move to the west, which will herald the way for new home, proper garden and groo no2 I will need a bigger place, if only cos I'll definitely need a bigger sofa Keep your fingers crossed Marie
