OK sorry upfront this one is filled with pictures from our meeting in the park with Fiona the growed up Deerhound. Julia the owners daughter wanted to come meet te puppies and it seems ask why on earth i left Scotland for Finland as she is obsessed in her own wordsm she also owns a westy, i gave my condolences
Well Fiona is a little larger than our beloved Cara and weighs in a few Kg heavier too. Coira was doing her best to be friends but Fiona is only a year old herself and her pawing was a little rough for the little ones so their play was limited but it didnt stop them!
Here is the normal greeting when you et to the dog park
They meet Fiona again
That walk
And stance
Girls were getting tired so decided they would claim the bench for their own
The dutch shepherd wanted a piece but Coira had other plans
Ah sed naw yer no gittin oan here
What part of nae chance pal did you miss!
Aye and come back wi yer pals if ye like
Two legs are ok to share wi though cause they gi ye treats

The babies are looking fab, nice to see another growed up deery. Still think that bird wi the short skirt has got duff legs Nae messin wi that Coira bird It looked like a lovely day in the Fin, we've had lotsa rain The girls look brindley in the sun. Bryn found a rabbit leg in the field yeterday (no I don't know what got the rest of it) he thought it was the bestest find ever as I watched the furry, wee, not so lucky, rabbit foot disappear down his throat, I thought of Jack Nice to see Eddi getting the 'panda' eyes
Indeed Edi is the belle of the pair amongst my friends but for me you have to love Coira's attitude, she really has some go get some attitude about her!

Well tonight was Coira's first night alone, i was rather nevous given that she has always had others around but my little ray of hope in that her stubborn headstrong streak may be enough proved correct, after a few hours alone my spy was despatched to check my house and found no howling and no more destruction than usual yay proud dad moment again.
Edina seems to still hav e alittle bit of an issue, Milla borrowed Coira yesterday to help Edi settle but found she still howled when she took the trash out. So a littl emore work and time may be needed there. The pair have spent most of their time here in my flat so its understandable but Edi should be getting used to it soon as she has been there a lot lately and rarely here. even with Coira there howling was heard must be bad feng shui in the house i say!

the pics are fantastic. my fave is where coira is giving the huge dutch shephard his character! i cant get away with how much they've grown in such a short space of time.
it would be wonderful to have dog parks like that over here, we're sadly lacking in enclosed places where the pooches can get off lead and be safe.
