My two have a duvet to sleep on in their baskets. However, despite regular washing of the covers, over time they have become smelly and Indiana has managed to rip holes and take a lot of the stuffing out So on Tuesday I went to Costco and bought pet beds. I thought they looked rather good I threw out the duvets and put in the beds in their place in the baskets. I woke up on Wed and Thurs feeling rather the worse for wear (not drink this time ) and realised hadn't had a great sleep. I vaguely recall being woken by the dogs on a few occasions. But Thurs took the biscuit. All night Indiana whinged. At 3am, OH took him out thinking he needed it - nope He continued to whine the rest of the night and got me up at 6am. Friday I relented and bought new duvets. Full night sleep and the longest lie-in ever!
Bad parents, I know, giving in like that - but it is soooo worth it
Oh so familiar, lol,I get the single summer/winter combi duvets nice and thick together but can be seperated and fit in the washing machine because they are single,or get two singles pop them in one cover again nice and plump but still washable. The things we do for our pooches.
Duvets always win. I spent a small fortune on a very large dogbed for Mason after convincing myself he needed it. He's rarely in it, its more of a palce to keep his toys etc! marie
