So Mason's pals Roscoe, Jessica and their new visitor Darcy came for a visit this afternoon and had a ball. Jessica showed off why she's such a daddy's girl, Darcy found one of Mason's chews before giving Moose a good battering and settling in his bed, and Roscoe....well, he demonstrated his thieving prowess to spectacular effect.He managed in about 5 seconds to open the fridge, take out a pack of Frikadellen - German cooked pork burgers - and close it behind him! Spark chaos as four greyhounds run round the bedroom grabbing pork burgers and demolishing them.
Moments later he struck again, despite the kitchen door being pulled shut - door handles, no problem for the king of the smash and grab.
This time a packet of cheese sparked a frenzy as it was ripped open and demolished. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself, I mean closing the fridge door behind him is genius.

Fab pictures marie. Darcy is such a stunner! is that a new foster for Steve!

How smart is Roscoe shutting the door after him? think he's trying to be environmentally friendly? biggrin.gif

i had the pleasure of a wee shot of Roscoe and Jess while steve was away seeing about a new dog that had come in at the christmas show. I'd taken them for a wee wander, and ended up in the cafe bit; Jess distracted me by lying down and not moving and while i looked down to see what was up with her (we're talking nanoseconds here) Roscoe had proceeded to try to scoff the contents of the cake table. luckily the girl who was helping out at the stall spotted him and we limited the casualties to one fairy cake. he and Jess are also fantastic pickpockets and they're a fantastic double act at getting you to give up the treats in your jacket pocket. biggrin.gif

How did mason react with the interloper nicking his bed?

Yes Darcy is a new foster, she's four years old and quite a tall girl, I think when she puts on a bit of weight she will be a very elegant looking big girl.
Luckily Mason isn't very possessive at all, he's just so thrilled to have groo pals in his house. The only sign of the green eye is his tendency to lie over me, paws on my shoulder etc, in a display of this one's mine, which he only ever does when we have visitorsevileye.gif
He took the opportunity while the others were grappling for the stolen goodies to rescue his chew. Think he knew that would get him into less trouble.wink.gif

Roscoe is one clever pooch. Indiana has managed to open a cupboard door but has never had the foresight to close it behind him! Darcy is very striking - I can see a winner at the next show biggrin.gif Jessica has the innocent eyes perfected!
