When to get pup dressed

Hi


Any advice on when the best time to get our pup Mallaig speyed, I always believed after her first season but spoke to the vet today and he said I could get her speyed before first season, he said that both ways have pro's and con's, now I'm not sure what to doAny advice on which is the best option for Malliag?

Hi Tracey, GAL's advice in similar situations is that there's no need to wait for the first season! Some vets do insist on waiting some don't, just one of those things that vets can't decide on, anyways GAL's advice is to get her done before her first season. Bear in mind you're other hounds, Dan & Flynn, although both neutered a wee pup in season around the house will drive them (and probably you) round the twist!
