SSPCA Story - Dead Puppy
Permalink Closed

There's a story been announced on the SSPCA website about a dead pup found in Clackmannanshire. You can see it at http://www.scottishspca.org/about/news.html

Be warned there is a picture of this poor puppy that was likely an unwanted Christmas gift.

They're calling it a collie cross - looks like a lurcher to me.

This is so sad - and so unnecessary. Poor wee mite! There is help available for those who have problems looking after their dog. Let's hope the SSPCA catch whoever is responsible. You're right, Glenda - the pup looks more lurcher than collie. His legs look too long for collie. All of it just makes my blood boil!!

Oh this is awful. When you see stories like this, it makes you all the more determined to keep Gal going strong. Just think what would happen to all our dogs if we were not able to keep going. Doesn't bear thinking about. I hope they catch the bleep.

Oh heavens,

feel a bit sick now as I passed the SSPCA inspector when he was taking photos of the bag in the tree and wondered what on Earth he was doing.  Now I know!

I can't believe that someone could be so cruel.  Personally, I think they should be left to hang from the same tree.

I'll ask my kids at school if they know anything as they're usually a pretty good source of who's up to what.  Hope they catch them.  It's a pretty distinctive puppy.  Somebody must know who owned it.
