Abbreviations on the greyhound database
Permalink Closed

Just been looking at Pearly and Harry's racing histories. Does anyone know what the abbreviations under the "comment" headings mean? For example, for one of Pearly's races it is noted "hit rls2". I'm wondering if this means she hit something as she was running? Which, of course, makes my heart break to think of her being hurt in any way.

Any clues, anyone?

Fiona

ps: or maybe I don't want to know...........

our Dave raced as Lorrha Concorde and the heart-breaking entry for August 2004 was "brokedown"  -  he'd broken his leg which ended his racing career........poor baby.  luckily for us, and him, it meant he joined our family !

Nothing to do with abbreviations...but our Keeras racing name was Wandering In and that's exactly what she did..she only ran 3 times and came 5th in all 3!!! Lucky for us she wasn't a great racer!!!
