vet recommendation required Cumbernauld Area
Permalink Closed

hi,

My grey Kaylay needs a dental and my vet has quoted an estimate of £220!!!! Quite shocking! Can anyone recommend a vet that might be a bit cheaper. She shouldn't need much done as she had one last year? I'm only thinking of getting it done again as she as givintivitis.

Thanks

Not sure what they would charge for this but we go to this vet and they are very good. One of the young vets, Michael, usually has his own rescue greyhound at the surgery with him!

I cannot recommend this veterinary practice highly enough - they are excellent.

My dogs and cats go to my local vet (Helensburgh) but I travel 1hour and 15 minutes to the Lawrie Veterinary Practice with my chinchillas!  (Not because chinchillas deserve better treatment, but because they are classed as 'exotics' and not all vets can treat them).

They also have a practice in Falkirk.

Hi Ive used McGuire/ Lawrie for many years. The prices are really good. Nick one of the young vets comes and judges at our xmas show and tries to help out when he can.

Plus - the practice in Cumbernauld is a beautiful, brand new, state of the art, purpose built surgery - much nicer than my doctors' surgery!!!

AND - I have just remembered - it was in their waiting room in Falkirk that I first read a GAL newsletter!!!!!!!!!
