Met you and Blondie today at Strathclyde park..do you live in Hamilton? If it is you I think you speak to my Dad who lives near you. If it's not you I'm sorry...there must be 2 Blondies!!!

I do indeed stay in Hamilton.

I've just checked your profile and I was chatting to your Dad a few weeks ago. He was telling me all about you getting a new dog. Just shows you what a small world it is. If you're over visiting keep your eyes open about 4.30 and you'll see Blondie and me stoating by. You are very welcome to join us at the nature trail.

This is always a good philosophy for not gossiping about people cos you never know who you are talking to!!!

It's amazing how many new folk I've met when I'm out with the dog.I've stayed here for yonks and hardly knew anyone outwith my own wee area.

My husband is convinced I'm up to no good. His loss.

Hello,

Good to see Blondie has settled in - don't think I've quite forgiven her yet for my trek/run through the woods after her when she did a runner from the car when I was taking her to the kennels!

Anyways, hope she's doing fine, and not getting too much of a hard time from the cats!

Hi Jason.

You'll be pleased to hear she still likes to escape to the woods. She got me completely lost 2 weeks ago when she decided to go for a wander thro' some jaggy bushes. Her recall is brilliant but she point blank refused to come to me.Obviously she didn't want scratched! So of course I had to fight my way to her. I've still got the scratches to prove it. We ended up having to wade thro' a burn to get back to the path. She was not flavour of the month.

She is still a really nervous girl but has got a group of doggy pals who we meet and she is a million times better than she used to be. She's still not sure of the human variety however.

The cats are coping remarkably well. She got a slap from Sam in the first week so is very wary of them. Mind you at night we all go for our last walk together I'm sure the neighbours think I'm nuts.

How are all your lot getting on?
