Things are looking up, Lesley. After 3 days, Suzie is doing very well. I'm hoping the pain Suzie feels will ease over the next few days and walking a bit further each day will become easier every time she goes out. The manipulation you're applying is helping a great deal to stop her joint from seizing up. You're doing a grand job and Suzie will be all the better for it very soon, I'm sure.

The Suzie-saga is coming to a close - thank goodness.

We were back at the Vet School yesterday.  We have to continue being careful for another 4 weeks or so, and I have to continue manipulating the joint to increase it's mobility, but she doesn't have to go back to the Vet School.  HURRAH!

She walks and trots without limping now, and the range of movement in the joint has improved but she will probably never have the flexibility in that joint that she had before.

Lesley, I'm so delighted that Suzie's movement is much improved with no pain, thanks to all your care and hard work! What a relief it must be for you that it's all been a success. Looking forward to seeing you, Sim and Suzie soon.

It really is a relief Christine.  Thankyou to everyone for their concern and kind wishes.

Suzie actually had a little canter down the garden this evening - another step forward.
