McGinty is here....

Went to pick up McGinty from his kennels this morning. He is gorgeous and has done so well. I took him to the park and he was a real gent, then he went to visit a friend of mine who lives over Strathaven way and again took it all in his stride. I had to lift him in to the car but he had it sussed by the third attempt(and a wee tea biscuit!). Got on great with Benson, has met one cat and he just looked at it, in a fairly disinterested way.He has been brushed and shown the steps in and out of the house which he is now managing. I am going to give him his tea now and then he might lie down, he has not stopped investigating now for an hour so he must be getting near sofa time! His coat and his tail need some tlc but that is all I think. He will meet Erin when she gets home from the vets, and the children when they get back from nursery. I think he will be ok though.

So nice to hear McGinty is doing well. Fingers crossed everything goes well with him and Erin although I'm sure it will as they both sound like such laid back dogs.

Please can we see some pics when you get a spare moment???

Piccys as soon as I can get everyone in one place!

I do not think he is one of the Irish three, he appeared at the vets to get PTS and ended up in kennels but needed a foster home quickish.

Got Erin back from the vets and the good news is she has a broken toe which the vet says will heal. She seems quite chuffed to have a friend although she is supposed to rest her leg there is little chance at the moment as they are all prancing around the garden.

That's brilliant, Susan! McGinty's doing so well with you so far. Looking forward to hearing more about him and seeing his pics along with Erin and Benson. Hopefully Erin's toe heals quickly so that she can get down to some serious playing with her two pals.

Thanks everyone for the nice thoughts. I have just realised that we should be posting about McGinty in the fostering section....I shall update you there.
