Well, we're back from our annual summer camping trip (our second one anyway!) Myself, John Seonagh, Dan, Flynn and Mallaig. It was Mallaigs first trip, last year we had one of our foster pups with us and we went to the Lake District. This year we did a couple of things different, we stayed in Scotland (the weather was better!) and we camped on the flat not a slight decline ( all six of us didn't end up in one end of the tent every morning) We went to Dumfries & Galloway, found a really nice, quiet campsite beside Loch Ken and discovered a great beach in Sandyhills where we all had great fun in and out of the water. When the tide was going out we took the three dogs into the water and threw a ball for them to chase, running threw the water not only kept them cool but also knackered them out!!. Mallaig was great I think she took her cue from the big dogs and was no trouble. The only thing keeping us awake at night was the guy across the field from us snoring like a earthquake!!! Oh well its all part of the charm of camping and I hope our next trip is as much fun
Delighted you had a wonderful holiday camping. Sounds as if you all had great fun down in the Dumfries area. It's a lovely part of the country and at least the ground was flat enough that you didn't all end up in the same sleeping bag this time! The dogs would have a ball there!
