Mums as daft as a brush!

I have had a bit of trouble recently with Mac and Den on the sofa!  To cut a long story short, Den gets comfy at the end of the sofa and Mac decides to cuddle up beside him.  Now, much as Den loves Mac, Mac does take up more than is fair share of it, until Den is forced to move.  I have pondered over this problem for a while and came up with a solution.  Today I bought 2 x 2 seater sofas and a chair, hopefully the boys will both have their own sleeping place now!!  Trouble is just looked at Mac spread out across my current sofa and don't think a 2 seater is going to be big enough!! oops!!  Oh well have given it my best shot.  New Sofa will be here soon!!

Yes, quite amazing how one hound can take up an entire 3 seater sofa at times!!!

Yeah Lita - doesn't matter how big your sofa is, our dogs always seem to fill it no bother. Strange, isn't it?

Hi Dawn,

Yip sounds like a problem. Trouble is furniture stores would not be too impressed if you were to take Mac and Denzil to try out their nice sofa's, beds etc. You can just picture the scene!!!!!

Do you  get the musical chairs each night. Everyone eyeing up a comfy place and grabbing it. Then change of mind some one moves and then the whole proccess starts everyone changing positions!

Hi Charles, Thats it exactly, musical chairs in my house!!  Usually 'my' chair was the only one free, until bed time when Den grabs it. The other day I came from work and despite Mac having the run of the house, including the bedroom, there he was squashed onto my chair, legs up over his head somewhere, but even laughing at him and trying to coax him down was to no avail!!  He obviously thinks 'my' chair belongs to the TOP DOG in the house!!!!

So to answer Dave's question.......Yes Dave, I'm on the floor!!!

Know that feeling well...when I come home from work after a late shift there's no chance of a seat!! 3 dogs,4 weans and a husband and that's it I'm banished to the floor!! Oh well at least I know my place in the pecking order...BOTTOM!!!
