Have just caught up with your news on Skipper. I am so pleased to hear that he is ok now. Well done to you for looking after him so well at this awful time.
now put up your feet and have a rest you deserve it - Em, Tig and Chad XX
Lesley, what fantastic news for you and Skips....i am so so pleased for you both. He's a little fighter and deserves such a special forever home - how lucky was he to have you for a foster mummy.
big hugs and kisses to you both from me, neil, dave and daisy
The Flintstones would like to echo what everyone else has said. Well done to Skipper and Lesley!! Let's hope this b-e-a-yootiful boy finds his forever home in the not too distant future.
Skipper is fine - thank you everyone for your concern. He is a cheeky boy, and now that his near death experience is past I have started on training - that all got pushed aside when he was so ill.
He already knows 'bed' and 'no' (of course) and is now learning 'down'! We start classes on Wednesday, having been last Wednesday for an introductory visit! It is the same class I took Sim to so I know them and they were pleased to see me and interested in Skipper.
Really I should move from here to Foster Dog updates - so if there is anything remarkable to report on his training progress I will put it on there.
Skipper's future with (or without) us depends on his behaviour with our old cats! The fact that they now hardly leave the utility room has not helped him get used to their presence. He is fine with them in their while they are in there on the boiler or counter, but we are still not convinced of his trustworthiness if one of them is on the floor - or (worse) in the garden.
