I just know that Suzanne is going to go nuts at this so i've got my armour on !!!  (honest, Suzanne, I didn't start it)

Daisy decided she'd have a sniff round my coffee table the other day.  Unusually() there was a glass of wine there.  Daisy found it and started drinking it !!  Of course, as soon as I saw her, I stopped her but am most surprised that she liked it.  Now she pesters me for a lick of wine every time I have a glass.  Naturally, I wouldn't encourage that sort of behaviour but it was funny!

Daisy isn't the only alcoholic doglet...

Eilidh is rather partial to a drop of Guinness, especially the froth at the top of the glass.

Keera is also partial to the odd slurp of wine when we're not looking! She likes a cup of tea too so needless to say everything is now kept out of reach!!!

Blue quite likes red wine given half the chance! Not quite as bad as my in laws lab. was. When they first got her she ate a box of chocolate liquers, drank someones pint and ate Grandma's cigarettes. She was a brilliant dog and missed by all

She sounds FAB! For some reason I now have a mental image of a Bet Lynch style lab.

Yup Florence is a refined kinda lady as well, wine and blue cheese are her favourite combo. Dexter like beer but only out of the bootle, and Abbey is tee-total. (Probably to scary!)

Hi Everyone,

My lot will drink anything anywhere! I recall Mick and Snap helping themselves to a mug of tea and some iced water with slice of lemon when we went to 'home check' Andy and Iluska.  Drinks on coffee tables are just at the perfect height.

Cleo decided the other evening to jimp up beside me on the sofa and take a slurp of my coffee. Her first time trying my coffee.  It was piping hot - so Cleo had a pained look and her tounge was aghhhhhhh for a minute ot two.

Most of the hounds that come from kennels have to learn that painful experiance

Mick and Snap love to drink out of my loo - again it's at the perfect height Seem to prefer it to their drinking bowls  - Warning - Squeemish Don't Read On!  They will also drink if I have had a wee at night and forget tp put loo seat down. - don't flush  so as not to disturb neighbours I assume that urine diluted with water has a certain medicinal property that the dogs enjoy!  And NO - it's not dilute alcohol from night before lol( I avoid using strong chemicals and especailly bleach now unless I make extra sure that the dogs are barred from that area of my flat.

So If we come to vist - please have a slection of beverages on your coffee table - to quench our thirst after all of these treats we will be getting.  Lock your cloak rooms  and bathrooms lol

Charles,   Snap, Mick. Cleo, Trei and Tink
