How many beds do your dogs have?
Permalink Closed

I've just counted up the ridiculous number of beds that Hazza and Puzza have: one each in the summerhouse cos they like to be outside with us when we pootling in the garden, one each in the kitchen for overnight and during the day when we're out, one each in the living-room for when we're all at home together, and spare quilts for when they come upstairs for a lie-in at the weekends or on holidays.

2 dogs and 8 beds - not a bad ratio!!

Are our two spoiled? Are we just daft?

We've got 2 dogs & five beds, but I was thinking of getting more as I keep having to drag them about as required!

erm, we have -

7 beds in the study where the dogs spend most of their time, 3 beds in the bedroom where the lucky ones sleep at night, 5 beds in the living room (plus a 2 seater sofa which is the dogs) and 5 duvets for the patio outside (for those 3 sunny days of the year we get in scotland....)..

IN OUR HOUSE THERE ARE MORE DOG BEDS THAN CHAIRS FOR THE HUMANS, IN FACT MY STEP-SON JUST SITS IN THE DOGS BED RATHER THAN SIT ONTHE SETTEE, USUALY BECAUSE THE DOGS ARE ON THE SETTEE.

Well we must be the meanest as we have 3 beds and 3 dogs!  We (humans) only have the one bed each and so do they!!  All are in the kitchen where the dogs sleep.  They never get moved into another room so the dogs can call that place their own, and don't get confused when you ask them to go to bed!  They also know it's their place of refuge when its a bit noisy when the kids are playing.  Everyone who comes into our house (adults and kids!) know to leave the dogs alone when they are in bed - really useful when the kids were younger!!

We have 3 dogs and 4 beds but the 4th is officially Megs as shes the leader of the pack. Al the cat always steals their beds though so theres always one spare. I think they prefer our beds and sofas any day!

Well here's our list of beds for Molly and Caspar......in their bedroom.....a kingsize duvet, two sleeping bags,a large dog furry bed,and two vet-beds.Also in their bedroom is an armchair which is Molly's and Molly's alone !

Downstairs,in the living room there are two sheepskin rugs which Dave splashed out on especially for them, and of course the sofa which we very rarely see,and the hearth-rug,which at this time of year we rarely see either. We have just bought two large soft cushions which Cas has since adopted as well.

We often end up sitting on floor cushions, and occasionally Caspar will allow me to sit in front of the fire for a while but then just stands between me and the fire when he wants in.

These are the dogs who also had a caravan bought for the colder months when we thought they'd rather not camp........

Spoiled? Our Dogs?   Never !  (well,alright then,just a little......)
