Sanna,s op........sighs


Sanna went in for her neuter op wednesday,felt so sorry for her ,kept reassuring her she would be back with us later that day n that she,d always be loved and cared for......daft i know but felt as if we were confusing her even more,just had Sanna for 3 wks now.She is settling in very well,chico the puss finally accepted her wen caught them drinking from the same water dish......bless.well wen we went to collect Sanna later that day the vet praised her wee soul...saying she was a very brave girl seemingly she said most greys are wimps,her words...anyway got Sanna home n she was welcomed with chico on her bed ..swear she knew wat was going on....kisses n lix all round for Sanna,left her most of the night in bed had some scrummy chicken later on n was fine...stayed up all nite to keep her reassured,


By morning she was bak to wagging tail n smiling eyes again,had 2 accidents through the day...seems to piddle for ages n more than normal,is this expected..been taking her out every 3 hrs quite bad runs n orange in colour ...sorry just was wandering if this was common?

Hi Mel, the op has different effects on each dog, I'd say don't worry about Sanna the extra pee'ing is pretty common, she should be good as gold come the weekend....

Zak is in for his neutering on the 2nd November so no doubt go thru all of this also.

I hope Sanna recovers very soon.


My girl is getting neutered on the 1st of November...yikes! We will no doubt go through all of the rushing about mad for her and making her comfy.

Sanna being spoilt with loadsa luvin n snugglesxxxx


Been up all night since 2am,she keeps peeing every hr now,phoned the vet this morning and they asked if i could collect a sample,no problem 1st time in the measuring jug looks very bloody?got to take her bak tomorrow 9am,just hope ma wee muffin okay,think it might be a urine infection,hopefully thats all,she just keeps sleeping n feeling sorry for herself wee lamb,not off her food i may add which is a good sign i hope .......just keeping her warm n cozy till tomorrow, sent all the family out to the flix as me n ma wee muffin need to sleep...yawnz...

I am sorry to hear Sanna has been poorly since her op.  Hopefully the vet will sort her out with some antibiotics or something of the sort.

Sorry to hear Sanna's not too well since she had her operation. Hope she's better soon - but the vet will sort her out and all the TLC she's getting from you will help her too. Keep us posted on how she's getting on.

Update on Sanna


Just bak from vet looks like she has a wee infection, gave us antibiotics n also gave her a anti inflamatory jag to try n stop her peeing every 1hr,the vet also gave her tablets to take also for 7 days,Sanna still a bit down n off her food but i,m sure her cooked chicken will tempt her back on it....hopefully....


Had a bad night with accidents again but wats a few widdles between bestest mates.Hopefully jag will take affect n we might get more than 3 hrs sleep tonight,if not tomorrow another day......

At least you know now its an infection for sure and now you have the antibiotics for Sanna, she will be back to her oldself in no time.

Good luck for tonight, we will keep everything crossed for a better rest tonight for you and Sanna.

I do hope Sanna gets well very soon. It was traumatic when I had my 4 done (including cat as I include him in everything)

Update on Sanna


Infection has cleared up wound hasn,t bothered her 1 bit......gets stitches out Sat morning,she,s slowly coming back to her wee self,big improvement today went local walk around graveyard,squirrel heaven to Sanna, just desperate for a run but nope still on lead for another 2 weeks.....sighs sanna:sad:...still gettin up at 3;30 am n peeing in bathroon....letting her out at 11;30 then bed but Sanna up 4 hrs later widdle here n there n then sleep....but we will perservere ,thanks to all the well wishers hugs n .will let you know of her recovery

So glad Sanna's infection has cleared up and she's on the road to recovery! Hopefully her wanting to pee through the night will sort itself out soon.


Bet she can't wait to get off the lead again and have a good charge around! The burst of energy would certainly help her sleep all night.
