Hi my name is Emma and I live all the way down here in Peterborough and sadly won't get to any G A L events (I am secretly very jealous).
I have had a selection of greyhounds over the years and currently have Tiger,he is very cat like in many ways and is brindle with a white bib and is seven years young. He will never grow out of his puppyhood and has an amazingly waggy tail - once broken due to heavy wagging. He is a very fun dog and was known as Alley Tiger in his raceing days.
I also have Chad, who is fawn and white quite the biggest greyhound I have met.He is five, and is of split personality - outside the house he walks beautifully on the lead and never pulls, unless he sees something small and furry (unlike Tig who is always off pulling) He is crazy inside running, jumping and kick boxes with claws out (ouch). He is also alot of fun and was known as Dunmara Admiral in his raceing days.
Before them I had Charlie who I lost this year due to lymphoma, he was 11. Finally or firstly whichever way you put it I had Rusty, who we lost in 1998 after a stroke. The vet aged him at 14- 17.
The rest of my family are husband Kevin, Adam who has special needs and is 16 although he is a genius with wood, photography and art and Luke super cool skateboarder aged 13. We also have a selection of fish including one stirlet, four koi, two goldfish,.. oh and Mrs B a tame blackbird.
I look forward to cyber-meeting everyone else in time.
