Just a wee update. Molly doll is doing great. She is a bit bonkers but lots of fun. She does not dislike the car so much now as I think she associates it with fun. She used to stay in the car a lot in her previous home so I think she thought it was a bit boring. Her behaviour is absolutely fine as long as you keep a wee eye on her. The kids love her and she loves the kids. She now knows upstairs is out of bounds and only sneaks up there to steal my indigestion tabs! She is left on her own with the other dogs just fine all night and when we go out. Her and Benson still play for hours.

Out on walks she is hilarious. Rubbish bins cause a bit of a problem as she keeps trying to get into them and getting stuck. She is still a bit of a monkey to get back at the end of a walk. But we continue to work on that one, even treats cannot entice her back as she is just having such a good time even if the rest of us are cold wet and tired!

She is very keen to spend lots of time with the singing santa we have, but every time she makes off with him she has 4 screaming weans running after her so she quickly gives up that idea.

Children....handy for training.

Sounds like Molly is a real wee character, you must be doing a grand job with her. And I look forward to doing my follow-up on Molly when she eventually gets her forever home.

I really love reading about the foster dogs progress on the forum, because it does make me feel I know the lovely hounds that bit more when they do move to new families, if I have not had the opportunity to meet them before. Thank you

Keep up the good work with Molly, kids are great for tiring out a little scamp. She is so full of life and not a care in the world.

Just to let you know Molly was in to get spayed today. All went well and she is back home and is ok. Getting lots of peace and quiet and cuddles. Hopefully she will be feeling a bit better soon. Have to say it makes me feel really bad taking them to the vets and the looks they give you, not good. Hopefully she will forgive me soon!

Molly will be loving the extra tlc she has been receiving since her neutering, I am sure all our babes know how to milk it.

Glad she's doing so well.

hugs & cuddles to Molly after her op.  i know what you mean about the guilty feeling when you take them to the vet for "that" op but they get over it really quickly and forgive you even quicker!!

Thanks everybody

Molly is much better today. She is still a bit stiff but back on form. It has cost me in treats and cuddles!

She really has turned the corner in terms of her behaviour. I would say she is pretty much perfect now. She has a wonderful personality and absolutely loves the kids. Brodie who is only one keeps going up for a kiss from her and she always responds with a lick back it is very cute.  Bit of a problem when he does this to every dog we meet when we are out though!

Good news for Molly. She has gone to her new home today. It is a lovely home with a very loving family and I wish them all well.

I have to say it is strangely quiet around here ! We will all miss Molly but we have an invite to go and visit her.

Hi Susan Ian and Erin

Really delighted that Molly has found a wonderful new home. I'm sure she'll settle in well with her new family as you've given her a great start. A huge well done to you all!
