Just wanted to welcome you to the Forum! I saw your posting in the 'Introductions' section. It's great to have your support and hope to meet you and the lovely Rolo at a GAL event some time. Now that you've stopped 'mooching around' and finally posted, I'm sure you'll find the forum and chatroom quite addictive! Looking forward to hearing more about Rolo!
We also live in East lothian (longniddry) so might bump into you some day whilst you're out walking Rolo. Now you have started posting on here you will soon become as addicted as the rest of us.
Welcome to the forum Keith .I live near North Berwick so we might meet up at some point ,I often take Cas my grey and Sasha my whippet down to Yellowcraig and will be organising a grey ,lurcher walk there again in March so you are always welcome, just keep your eye on the forum. Nora and the gang.

Welcome and don't be shy, everyone is so kind on here!
I felt quite touched by your writing in the intro section. I am sure that when the time comes a needy doggie from GAL will help you get over the pain no end. For the time being just make the most of the time you have left with your beloved pal.
If you look back on here you will see my first post was about the loss of my lovely old friend, Charlie, who we lost to lymphoma in September. This forum really helped me through the pain and made it easy for me to feel confident that adopting a new friend was the right thing to do next. Here I am a wee short while later with a new boy (Chad) and a whole lot of cyber-friends! I am just jealous that you can join in all the GAL events, unfortunately I am much too far away in Peterborough!
Welcome Keith, we also live in East Lothian, Longniddry (same place as the handsome Blue, Janie's boyfriend). So we too might bump into you at some point.
I'm overwhelmed! What fantastic comments from everyone: Christine, Jenny, Amanda, Rhona, Max, Emma, Nikki and Faj !!
I've taken on board all that people have been saying, and I hope I've not sounded too much like a manic depressive! I ain't (ask Jenny!). It's nice to know that there are people who care, and I'm honoured to be welcomed into such lovely company. Can I just say a special thanks to Siouxsie who has been a wee rock and to the rest of my rocks, well you've all been promoted now to bricks!
Keep on caring, cause if you stop, somone or something out there suffers, that's for sure.
