I think 'plaque off' is good for getting rid of smelly breath, but I don't think it actually helps remove any plaque. I think if the teeth are good in the first place then 'plaque off' is a good preventative, but I don't think it helps much with plaque that is already there. I have taken Casper off the "plaque off" just now until we get his other end sorted out and I have noticed a difference in his breath - a bit stinky now when he yawns! He never had smelly dog breath when he was getting plaque off every day and even though its not really bad, it is certainly not as fresh as it was!
