i had my wee nephew staying over night friday to his mum and dad were on funny shifts like,he wasnt settling all that well he was screaming the place down then sleep eventually won.i come down stairs to find taylors head buried under his blanket/sleeping bag bed to muffle out the noise it was so funny disturbing her sleep tut at him.then when all was quiet she brought her head out made sure it was all quiet and went back to sleep with the usual moan.
Blue sends his sympathies. With a new born in the house he is becoming a master at covering his ears whilst doing very loud grumping. Blue sleeps in the living room and we can hear his grumping upstairs when Hazel wakes!
Amanda, just wondered how Blue is with Hazel, I know I wouldn't trust my Chad but Tig would be a honey. Greys are so different arn't they, some are activated to attack by a crying baby, I am glad that Blue doesn't sound like that.My Charlie had to be shut away if under fives came to play, quite a nightmare at times.
He is fantastic in a couldn't care less kind of a way! He came for a sniff then retreated quickly (Hazel was having her nappy changed).
My other daughter was only 18mths old when we got him and he has been really protective over her, he ran and put himself inbetween her and the sea when she made a b. line for it and waited for us to catch up
I agree they are all different and thank our lucky stars that Blue isn't driven by the sound of small animals only the idea of chasing a squirrel or cat brings out his prey instinct.
My parents had a grumpy cockerspaniel that I would never have trusted with children as she had not met any when we took her on. ( She bit me when I was 12) so guess it's a worry with what ever the breed of dog.
Thanks for asking always more than happy to praise what a wonderful dogglet Blue is!!
