Alan, Douglas has never looked back just in case he sees whats missing
Gillian, Im sure Morse will be fine, Angus was no problem at all when he got the op. Just a bit of tlc and no running about till the stiches either disolve or are taken out and something light for dinner, Angus loved having chicken and boiled rice.

Oh - ya. It brings tears to the eyes just thinking about it.
Seriously though, I was told that male neutering generally extends the dogs life by 2 - 3 years, due to lack of stress and much reduced risk of cancer.

He was perfectly fine when I came home from work but the anaesthetic had made him so sleepy he could only wag the tip of his tail when he saw me come in and couldn't get up. The funniest thing was the vet had told Michael to put a pair of shorts on him (so he wouldn't have to wear the head cone), so now he's hobbling around with a pair of Michael's boxers on! I can't help laughing even though I feel so sorry for him! Otherwise he seems fine - his appetite wasn't harmed at all and he wolfed down the pasta and tuna we spoiled him with. And he was up bright and early this morning so I think he's well on the mend. But i'll definitely get some aloe vera gel - good for when the scar gets itchy too I bet!
Glad to hear Morse is on the mend. Jamie recovered really quickly last year when he was 'done' so I hope Morse is the same and doesn't need to wear his boxers for long!!
Big hugs and licks (from the pooches of course)

Hi, Welcome to the forum Morse & Gillian. Glad he's recovering from his op. The photos of Morse are superb, and the boxer shorts certainly bring a smile to one's face!! I can well imagine him trying to get them off!
