Sasha,s visit to the vet
Permalink Closed

yes it was Cas last week Sasha this week. Sasha was very shaky and doing a bit of yelping but could not work out what was wrong with her. Took her out for a run in the paddock, but she was just clinging to my side. We went back into the house and sorted their breakfast, she tried eating, but it was hurting her to swallow. Took her to the vets this afternoon who gave her a examination and came to the conclusion that she had a throat infection so she was given Metacam and a antibiotic injection , light meals for the next few days and Metacam. Why oh why when you have a couple of dogs do they always seem to go ill round about the same time beats me. Oh and just to add more worry Juno our border collie has went into season.

Hope Sasha's better soon, Nora. And that Cas is OK now. Strange, isn't it, how they all seem to get sore things at the same time? But I'm sure they'll all enjoy the ice cream and all the other treats heading their way!

Still not herself ,but early days. She is at least eating her scrambled eggs and other soft foods so that is a good sign. Thank you all for asking after her. Nora

Hi, Nora, I forgot to say - when Harry ran off, he gave himself a sore throat from all the heavy breathing and gasping. He had quite a cough for a couple of days. The vet said that we could give him children's Benylin to soothe it. As it turned out, we didn't cos it seemed to clear up all of a sudden. Might this help Sasha? Under your vet's direction, of course.
