Our three got lovely new donut beds just before Christmas. They absolutely loved them and looked so comfy in them . However, they are now ruined! The bases have been ripped and two of the cushions have been so badly chewed that the stuffing is falling out of them! They were not cheap and we can't afford to keep buying 3 beds every couple of months!!
Any suggestions about 'chew-proof' beds would be much appreciated!
P.S. There is no change in their routine, they are never left any longer than 2-3 hours and they have plenty toys to play and chew on.

Our two have the hard plastic beds (largest size) with loads of blankets and fleeces for padding and warmth. Harry is a chewer as well and he ruined a couple of beds/duvets when we first got him. He's fine with this sort of bed and it's lasted really well. We got ours for £14 from the market (half the price of Pets @ Home!).
Shirley, it was East Fortune Sunday market in East Lothian (across from the museum of flight). Though I didn't see any when I was there a couple of days ago.
The dogs do seem to be comfy in them. Harry is a big lad with legs that go on forever and he snuggles down a treat in his bed. Whilst they stretch out on their cushions in the living-room, they usually like to curl up quite tightly when they're doing their 'serious' night-time sleeping!
Another place to try is Costco (if you have a card or know someone who does) in Springburn.
We bought cat "igloos" last month for our 2 cats & they were only £8 each & they also had dog beds but can't, unfortunately, remember how much they were but I'm sure they weren't as expensive as Pets @ Home.

PS They also had an "activity" centre thing for cats that was also a lot cheaper than Pets @ Home if you happened to be looking for that sort of thing too
Help!! Our three got lovely new donut beds just before Christmas. ,they are now ruined! The bases have been ripped and two of the cushions have been so badly chewed that the stuffing is falling out of them!
Hi Shirley
I know how you feel I have two wee monkeys here, well they are not so wee anymore, who chewed a brand new duvet in less than an hour. I tried everything big beds, wee beds, fat beds, thin beds, nothing worked so I gave them Mac's donut bed!! Ooops bad idea, they ripped that in mins. So now I am using fleece throws, which will fit in the washing machine.
If anyone can suggest a bomb proof bed I would also be interested. Either that or you will see two wee guys looking sorry for themselves when they have to wear muzzles to bed instead of PJ's!!
