Hi Folks, Just a reminder that the next monthly GLASGOW Dog walk takes place next Sunday 5th March
If you haven't been on one yet you are missing a fab day, it's great to see SO many hounds doing their thing! The walk is round the loch in the park which is about 3 miles (of course you could just hang around the car park like some folk gassing for a few hours and drinking coffee....or only go part of the way round!)
WHERE: Strathclyde Park in Glasgow, meet in the first car park on right hand side past the Watersports Centre
WHEN: Sunday 5th March @ 11am.
SEE YOU ALL ON THE 5TH!.....Remember if you can't make it on the 5th don't worry, the walks (as last year) will be held on the FIRST SUNDAY of each month at the same location right the way through 2006....
That HORRIBLE thing called work is at it again!! Jim and I working opposite shifts as usual so we won't make it tomorrow ...God I hope we win the lottery tonight!!!

That's a great idea...I'll need to send you a copy of both our rosters and you can take it from there!!!
(Don't think we'll make it next month either by the looks of things....I hate it when we can't get there for a blether and a good walk..oh and a free meal at my Mums!!!)

Hi Folks, big thanks to everyone who joined the walk today, loads of new faces which is great to see and I met some of the doggies that I've homed in the last few months (but never actually met!) I lost count at 73 skinny dugs in attendance but there was prolly a few more I missed! Special thanks to the volunteers who brought a few of the homeless hounds down from the kennels for a nice day out. On an even brighter note 2 dogs found permanent homes today so hopefully that'll kick start us out of our little slow spell on the homing front.
Finally just a quick general note especially to the new attendees, all GAL's official events have a strict 'dog on lead' policy, even if your own hound is happy off lead consideration must be given to the other hounds in attendance...
Thanks for letting me follow you through Siouxie, i would have never got there myself LOL
Was a lovely day and saw many greyhounds that i recognised from pics on the forum (Angus & Jenna, Biscuit (how cute is he), lady (white and grey bitch), Lisa (bitch up for rehoming) and many more My dogs had a great time too meeting new people and dogs. Thanks for a good day
