Not of the two legged variety (I've done my bit for that cause!!).
Thanks to Carole Robinson and Esther the Walsh's are now the proud parents of Patsy a beautiful seven year old brindle. Patsy was returned to Esther by her previous owner of four years (no problem with the dog, but a change in personal circumstances). Esther very kindly brought her through to Livingston on Saturday where we introduced our own dogs Sophie and Benny. All went well and she came home with us that afternoon.
She is one very gentle dog and has settled in so well you would hardly know she was in the house (how right were you Esther). She loves her cuddles and has taken quite a shine to my youngest daughter's bedroom!!
She is still looking a bit bewildered and maybe a wee bit down, but hopefully lots of tlc will help her over the next few days.
PS Nora & Edinburgh Walkers - was not going to post this and just surprise you all on the next walk, but just couldn't wait to tell!!
Congratulations Rhona and family! And well done Patsy...I'm sure you'll settle in very quickly with your new family with all the love and cuddles you'll get.
Here's to lots of happy times together in the future.

Awww, congratulations on the arrival of lovely Patsy! There's only one thing missing. Piccies!! She sounds really sweet and no doubt she'll come out of her shell when she settles in a bitty more.
congratulations on your new arrival, she sounds lovely. I love the brindles I used to love the blacks but since Millie has been in my life, she is such a brindle beauty!
Hope to see Patsy on one of the East walks soon.

many congratulations to you all, she sounds like she'll settle very well with your family.
isn't it a shame when personal circumstances necessitate giving up a pet? i can't imagine being in any circumstances that would ever ever persuade me to give up my dogs so i consider myself very lucky.
Can't wait to see her Rhona and my fav girl Sophie. Are you going to make it to the walk on the 26th at Holyrood would be great to catch up and meet your new girl.
So pleased you found no3 I know how much you wanted another.
Landess and Sunny.
