In the forum favourite (apart from my Casper) my favourites are Aisha - how beautiful! And Sasha popping out the sand - how cute! And Trooper covered in snow! - LOL! And most of Judy Zatonskis pictures! And Jade & Dinos picture of Malcolm - stunning! OK I like far too many to choose from!!! They're all lovely!

Christine (and everyone!) YOU DO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE JUDGING! Remember folks Judging will start on the 19th, you'll be able to give each dog a mark out of ten using the Online Dog Show Website and there will be a poll set up on this forum so you can all vote for the 'forum favourite' category!!

Well - I'll just have to give 'em all 10 out of 10!! Who said I was sitting on the fence?

No, seriously, though, each category has brilliant photos and it's going to be really hard to make a final decision. I think you probably have enough excellent photos to fill calendars for several years. It's marvellous to see entries from down south and abroad too!

Have you seen Sunny's best group photo....

Sorry couldn't resist and those of you that know Sunny know how she isn't interested in other dogs so these really are her best friends

I was late catching up with all the photos but I am through them all now.  What a wonderful display of greyhounddom they are.  They make me feel like going and cuddling Daz whenever I look at them and checking out the adoption pages for whether it's time for that second hound yet ;)

Sorry I misread the rules for the 'best dressed' section.  I had this daft idea yesterday when Daz was flaked out after running in Vogrie park and dressed him up with Peter's hat and bandana without remembering it wasn't fancy dress.  Glad someone was on their toes and submitted it elsewhere for us.  What a lot of work you must have all done behind the scenes, vetting and submitting the photos!

Was this publicised on other greyhound rescue sites?  Great idea for getting some money for GAL in a fun way.

I just wanted to clarify a couple of things...

I'd assumed it was the dogs being judged rather than the photography?  Not that that necessarily makes it any easier because I know they're all five star winners but just wanted to be clear before the voting starts.

I also had read on the entry page that the copyright remains with the photographer but all the photograph pages say they're copyrighted to GAL.  Don't mean to sound paranoid but I spend a lot of my time working in 3D computer graphics and online copyright is a bit of a hot point much of the time.

Hi there,

The website is copyrighted for GAL, but the photographs remain the property of the individual photographers.

Phew!  That's all my votes been cast!!  I was sooooo pleased (and relieved) to see Freddy & Wilma have got some votes!

It's not as easy as it looks voting - especially as we're voting on the dog itself not the photo!  Hard to be objective sometimes!!

A big thank you and well done to all who have worked behind the scenes putting the dog show together.  I'm sure you'll be glad when it's all over!!

Good luck everyone - and remember, regardless of the official voting result, we each have the winning dog(s) in our own homes!!
