I desperately need a volunteer(s) to do a can collection outside Asda Bishopbriggs on Friday, 31st March.
I spoke to a few of you today at the walk and some folk haven't noticed new posts in the Kennel Fund site so I'm cheating a little and putting it here in the hope that some new bods will read and volunteer.
I'm away for 3 weeks and I'd like to arrange this before I go. The events organiser in this store is a greyhound lover and has said this could be a regular spot for us. Its also payday for a lot of folk.
It would mean turning up when you wanted and leaving when you wanted, no strings attached and you can take your dogs.
Can anyone help me out???? THANKS.
Carol J
PS I will be taking my turn in future I just need this slot filled.
As everyone has probably heard me say - I'm away on holiday soon - however I have had a call from Asda, Livingston - there is a cancellation for a bag packing session on Sunday 2nd April.
Anyone who is interested please reply to this post or email me by Wednesday night and I'll set it up.
4 volunteers from the East Coast would be a lovely way to send me off on holiday don't you think?
That's only about 30 mins away from me - I'll do it. So how does it work then - GAL T-shirts and a bucket for cash and just pack folks bags for them? How long is the packing session for? Jane

Ok people!! I am the ONLY volunteer for 31st March at the Asda in glasgow forge. I don't want to stand by myself so if you can manage even for an hour or so please volunteer. Pleeeeeeaaassse!!!!!! Ziggy and Vern would love to see you!
The Forge will be Mondays/Tuesdays and I'll arrange that when I get back.
Just to re-emphasise Jenny's plea - please don't have the girls standing on their own collecting money, Christine will be there, perhaps on her own, on Saturday, 1st April.
Oops totally got that wrong. I can't do Bishopbriggs. I will wait for details of Forge when you return. That could have been embarrassing turning up at the forge on 31st.
Hi Carole, we've 2 collections arranged at Asda Bishopbriggs - Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April, start times are 11am however we're real flexiable so you can pretty much pick your own start and end times, Carol Jack who's organising this is away on holiday so email me for more info - david@gal.org.uk
