Just to say hi to everyone again, as someone said we should put a bit on the introductions page.

We have recently given a home to Tilly, a beautiful black 3yr old greyhound from Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. We say black, but it looks as though someone has flicked her with a paintbrush full of white paint as she has flecks all over her coat (and a nice bald patch, following her spay op!).

We live in Cairneyhill in Fife (just outside Dunfermline) and have been here for about 3 yrs. Before that we both worked at Battersea Dogs' Home in London for a time, where we met. Debbie was desperate to move back up here to be nearer her family and dogs, so Andrew came along to. We bought with us our last dog, Eeyore, a stunning scruffy grey deaf lurcher who we adopted from Battersea and who we devastatingly lost to cancer in April 2005, aged only 6 (ish).

We finally felt ready to take on another dog and went to EDCH for a "look". Needless to say, a few weeks later Tilly was curled up on her bed in our house! We both work full time but are very fortunate in the fact that Debbie's parents live near by and take care of Tilly during the day, along with their own dog Drummer, a 12yr old Lurcher who Tilly is besotted with (Drummer also likes her but is a bit put out at having to share things again and put up with her inceasant licking!).

Can see we're going to become addicted to this forum thing - and greyhounds! We look forward to meeting some of you on the greyhound walks, and "talking" to the rest of you!
