Your pictures are so cool ! Was getting worried at one point as the hounds were running seeing them losing traction on the rear ends and sliding so each time they get out is only a short burst.... don't need any broken legs right now !!!
Isn't funny how they find the snow such good fun. Usually snow is a hindrance to animals but dogs (probably because they are all so spoilt by us) can just play and enjoy it!
boooooo - despite the 5hrs of blizzards this morning, the snow never lay at all here in East Edinburgh. Meanwhile across town in West Edinburgh at my mums it was 5 inches deep. V bizarre...

All the pictures of the dogs are fab......I will def need to get a camera! My pups had great fun in the snow...just in the back garden...the only time they dont feel the cold!
Mac wasnt too sure at first, but soon got the general idea of the snow which made for an interesting walk...no where suitable to give him a good run.
I'd expected Daz to be a bit prissy about it as he had always been a bit iffy about getting his feet wet in puddles. Yet he just delights in it, now I see that other people's dogs are enjoying themselves too :) Lovely photos
Here's Daz and Peter enjoying themselves on the fresh snow in Vogrie Park
Isn't it funny how some of Edinburgh has no snow and other parts have loads. I'm up near the bypass across from the ski slope and we have 2 foot drifts. I had to dig out our path yesterday just to get out the gate.
Sunny loves the snow, except when we were walking down a path yesterday and must have stepped into a hidden ditch or something as the snow was suddenly up to Sunnys tummy and my Knees. I was falling about laughing and calling Sunny to come on and after a few half hearted jumps she just stood there and looked at me. I ended up having to carry her out of the drift. I didn't mind that I've had to lift her over floods and big puddles before, what I minded was the little Border terrier who just bounded round us. I swear it was laughing at us, it had a look on its face that said Sunny you big woose!
Love the photos everyone I must learn how to post them soon.

I just love seeing all the dogs enjoy themselves in the snow! They're all having such fun and entertaining us too. The photos are brilliant! I'll have to get a digital camera soon.
