AND GUESS WHAT? HAVE A LOOK BELOW..
Thats right folks JUST IN STOCK! Greyhound Awareness League TROLLEY TOKENS.
And guess what, as I like you guys so much you're all getting the first chance to purchase one of these limited edition tokens before they go on sale to the general public. It's a meagre £2 (plus postage) for one token!
So how do you purchase on of these little babies? Simple - email david@gal.org.uk and I'll send you instructions!
Oooh this is too weird for me!! Have just bought one of these thingies from the Avon book (for breast cancer awareness) and had a conversation with pal about how good they are and it would be a great idea for GAL.
Your just too clever for words Dave - or have you been browsing the Avon book too!!
Yes, these things are so handy. I've bought a GAL one although I've already bought 2 from other charities. They are also very handy for gym/swimming pool lockers. I got one for my husband who came home from the gym one day just because he didn't have a pound coin when he got to the changing room! That's men for you! (sorry guys) I wish that the GAL ones had been available when I bought my husbands.
Only one gripe and I don't want to sound miserable (I'm far from it as those of you who know me will testify), but I feel that they would be easier to sell at £1.50. £2 is not much I know, but I've had quite a few raised eyebrows at the price. They are available in a lot of the charity shops at only £1. Charity is a big business these days what with managed shops and the like.
Only a thought. Please don't think I'm tight. I'll still keep trying to punt them at the park when I'm out walking with Amber, my whippet cross or cross whippet, depending on her mood that day!!

Hi Rhona, I'll fess up and say I had nothing to do with these - they have been donated to GAL (all 1000 of them) free of charge by a 'mystery' volunteer and I can only say here how grateful I am cos they really are fab and will rasie a lot of money for us!..
Any chance there will be some available at the Edinburgh walk on Sunday? Would love to buy a couple and so much easier to buy in person than send mail (I'm terrible at anything that doesn't come online ;) )
I can only say this - 'Sand to the Arabs' I'm your woman (so to speak)
Although I have to admit that I was turned down by two of the staff today at Bothwell Bridge! Never mind I'm put off that easily and I did manage to home a month stay dog within first 10 minutes of being there!

PS Trolley has an 'e' in it! (just thought you'd like to know)
