We have been offered a bag packing slot on Saturday, 15th July between the hours of 10am and 7pm within Sainsburys Meadowbank Store.


Before confirming with the store can I get an idea of volunteers able to attend.

July a bit far ahead but if I'm around I'll help. Is there an age limit on can collecting because my 13 year old twin girls are desperate to help.

Sainsburys have enclosed a risk assessment form which must be given to parents of all school age children taking part - which I'll send you if you want to attend with the girls.  Just e-mail me your address.

As some of you may have noticed this bag packing event coincides with the Edinburgh Hot Dog Event at Holyrood Park.


Lucky for us the store is across the road from the park.


I don't have many volunteers for this event yet although I am aware it is a bit early, however can I ask that those attending the Hot Dog Show think about sparing an hour or even a half hour to attend the bag packing session at Sainsburys which lasts from 10am to 7pm.


It will be a great fundraising & publicity day for GAL & the Kennel Fund with the hounds present right across the road.
