What food?
Permalink Closed

We're swithering about changing Tilly's food but aren't sure what to change it to.  She is currently on Omega Active which has helped her put on the bit of weight that she needed to when we got her but don't want her to put too much on.  She needs to have food that has fairly large bits as she does tend to inhale the food otherwise.

We would appreciate any advice and views.

Arden Grange is a big favorite with GAl owners - they have a giant breed mix which has really big kibble size for those dogs that like to wolf their food - there are plenty threads about it in this section that also have links to their website where you can buy on line (hardly any shops stock it) - they deliver for just 3 quid extra to your door - even if you only order the 1 bag!

My 2 thrive on it!

Arden grange has been great for Blue as it has glucosamine in and he does have problems with his shoulder sometimes. It's quite expensive but we think the benefits are worth it.

I am sure I've read somewhere else that quite a few owners feed their dog wagg with good results.

A lot of groos seem to have problems with white meet. Our Blue is particulary nasty it we give him chicken dog food. Lamb suits him really well

Good luck

Aah, the age-old issue of food, glorious food!

TBH, it's all fairly subjective. We'll all swear by whatever works well for our dogs, and judging by the piccies that people post our dogs are looking smashing and healthy! Our two get Autarky, which is a colour/preservative free complete food with chicken, veggies, rice and herbs. Harry has a tendency to swallow rather than chew and it seems to go down fine with him. Pearly crunches, cos she's a lay-dee.
