I've done that at Pets at Home in Hamilton. I also asked the assistant manager about a can on the counter - but was directed to their head office. Pets at Home are committed to a charity already and have their can on the counter. I think it is the Blue Cross. But not sure. We could do a can collection in the shop only if the target for the month for the designated charity had been reached.

The shop is very sympathetic towards GAL and were happy to display a GAD poster the other week.

Hope this all makes sense.

I've written 3 times to the head office, my 3rd just posted, and have phoned countless times however the lady in question is always far too busy to take my calls and my letters have gone unanswered.

Its a pity as the staff in the local branches are really friendly and eager to help out.
