Long term homeless section
Permalink Closed

Have just noticed the new long term homeless section on the main web site.

Think this is a great idea. It has to be said Star is absolutly stunning - well lets face it they all are.

I hope this helps them get the homes they so deserve

Hi Amanda

Is this in the See The Dogs section? - I can see Star with Zara in veterans.

Edited to say:,

Just cleared my cache etc and i can now see the bit you are talking about Amanda. And I agree what a good section. Keeping everything crossed for success from it.

Think this is a great idea give the long haulers a chance of their own, cannot remember where I read recently about how laid back older greys are and so lazy, but it would be a good advert for the veterans. Nora

think the new section is a great idea - wondered if it would be an idea to actually say in that section too how long each dog had been on the books (as Im sure not all web site visitors look at the forum...) ?? might tug at folks consciences???

The long term section is good, but anyone new might wonder why these dogs are long term.  As posted here on the forum, Dave gave explanations of why each dog was long term - would it be feasible to include in their write-up an explanation??

Lita, that is exactly what I thought - have to say, if I didn't know then I'd do it myself. And people not quite as grey-savvy as us might think that it's because they're terrorising demons. When we know that they're all soft lumps who just want a comfy bed, the odd biscuit (or 20!) and their ears tickled every day.

I see the fair maiden "Patch" is gone from the site - has she finally found her forever home?!!  What a sweetheart she looked!

Hi Guys

We thought your idea to include the reason each dog had been on the books so long was a good one so the long termers page has been updated.

I feel sorry for poor Tara

Poor Tara. Sure she will look like the most beautiful dog in the world to some one. Hope it's soon.
