Isn't Bran a sweetie on the veterans page?!  She looks sooo cute curled up with the cat!  Am I wrong in thinking that loads of people are looking for cat safe pooches?!  Hopefully she'll find her forever home soon!

He's very cute. From the other pictures we have he looks fairly timid. Seems he's not so much a catsafe dog as a non-dogsafe cat!

We usually have a list of people waiting on catsafe dogs and on hairy lurchers so let's hope his age doesn't put them off.

I must admit that I'm really surprised he hasn't been snapped up by someone looking for a dog shaped cat.

I have to say, if I was thinking of getting a cat, he's my kind of moggy!!!

I'm sorry to have to announce that Bran was PTS this afternoon, bit annoyed and sad all round on this one, the detailed assessment that his current family filled in for him was filled in incorrectly (as I discovered on Monday when I called them for a chat and an update on him) turns out it was a friend of the owners who filled it in and she didn't know all the details so 'guessed', I just wish they had told me at the time, turns out Bran was great with other dogs, just barked at them when he was in his own garden but the friend that wrote the assessment interpreted this as agressive towards other dogs anywhere, also turns out he was nearer 14yrs of age and not 8...anyways Bran suffered a heart attack this morning and was PTS shortly afterwards....

Poor wee soul!

What a sad way to end your life - totally (unjustly) branded a problem with other dogs.  Was he still with his family at the end then?  If so, at least he wasn't in unfamiliar surroundings or stuck in kennels (no offense to kennels - just think they are a tad more clinical than a nice house with soft carpets and sofas etc).

That is so sad

My parents were very tempted by Bran when they saw him on the website as they have a cat and thought he would be ideal for them, it was the fact that he was not good with other dogs that put them off as i visit regularly with Neo.
